This is a little old knife owned by my friend Declan, he has had it for some years, and was passed onto him by a friend.  Because of it's age about 50 + years and the handle being made of I think plastic or itcould have even been bone had split bad so it has now got a new oak handle.
This is Declans favorite knife for cutting veg, and other food  cutting jobs in the kitchen.  A good recycling project a well loved knife still being used.

Picture
These six pictures are of my friend Declans project. He started to get interested in turning earlier this year and progressed thoughout the year making a few small pieces and learning tool techniques.  This piece of Ash was bought from a wood turning show in Nov and what you see is the end result with a little help and assistance from me.
